- solution: a mixture in which subtances are completly blended so that properties are the same throughout and the subtances stay plended.
- suspension: a mixture of subtances that separate upon standing
- collid: particles (or droplets) large enough to block out ight spread throughout another subtance.
- emulsion: a liquid spread through another liquid.
- aereosol: liquid drops or solid particles spread to gas.
- gel: a solid spread through a gas.
- foam: a gas spread through a liquid or solid.
